How to Arrive
Braga is easily accessible by plane, highway or train. It is 50 km North of Porto and it is linked to main Portuguese cities by bus (bus schedule) or train (train schedule). You can buy tickets in advance.
The nearest international airport is located in Porto, “Aeroporto Francisco SáCarneiro”. There are several regular and low cost national and internationalairlines flying to Oporto airport.
By Plane
- Upon arrival, you can take a direct shuttle to the central bus station in Braga. It should cost 8 € and take 50 min. You can buy the online ticket in advance. Please check the timetable here.
- You can also reach Braga by taxi for about 60 €. All taxis are equipped with a taximeter, and the fare charged is limited to the amount displayed on the meter. Passenger must be given a receipt.
- If you prefer to rent a car, this can be done directly at the airport. It takes approximately 40 min to arrive to Braga by highway.
By Train
The train to Braga (see train schedule) should be taken from the railway station. You can buy online tickets in advance.
By Car
By car and using a GPS navigation system, Museum D. Diogo de Sousa shall be identified by entering the following location:
